April showers didn’t dampen spirits at the Multiple Sclerosis Society Isle of Man’s Wheel and Walk this weekend.
The event saw over 70 people take part in laps of the NSC raising funds for and boosting awareness of multiple sclerosis. Among those were members of the Creechurch Capital team, supporting as part of the company’s Giving the Gift of Time campaign which will see each team member clock up 2017 minutes of charitable time throughout the year.
The event was a huge success, raising approximately £5,000 for the charity.
Stewart Quayle from Creechurch Capital commented: “We were thrilled to be able to support such a worthy event and cause. We had a fantastic time, despite the rain which gave our new Creechurch umbrellas their first real test against Manx weather!
“As we progress with our charitable time campaign, we continue to be inspired by the enthusiasm and generosity of the Manx people. Our summer agenda of activity is taking shape and we will be making some exciting announcements in the coming weeks. If this weekend is anything to go by, we know we can count on the support of the generous local community.”
