A royal occasion at Creechurch HQ

May 20, 2014

Yesterday Creechurch Capital welcomed a regal guest to its Knox House headquarters – the Queen’s Baton Relay.

The baton visited Creechurch Capital to mark the company’s involvement as a Team Isle of Man Champion for this year’s Glasgow Commonwealth Games.

The relay has made its way around the Island over the weekend and been welcomed by residents and businesses alike before it made its way across to Northern Ireland.

John Greenwood, Chief Executive at Creechurch Capital, said: “As a business we seek to compete on an international stage, which is why we knew we had to support our Island’s athletes as they look to do the same at this year’s Commonwealth Games. The Baton Relay was a fitting occasion to celebrate as momentum and excitement gathers ahead of Glasgow.”

Through its Sports Academy, Creechurch Capital has also pledged its support to Commonwealth and Olympic Taekwondo hopeful, Aaron Cook.

Aaron regained his number one world ranking at the end of 2013 when the under-80kg Isle of Man fighter made the podium in nine competitions out of 11 that year, including five golds.
