Discretionary fund manager, Creechurch Capital, has announced that Mary Brady will take over as Managing Director of the business as it embarks on its next phase of growth.
Mary, who has been with the business since inception when she held the position of Finance Director, has been an integral part of the business’ growth. Over recent years Mary has been COO of the Knox Financial Group, building other group businesses and leading them to successful exit. These included the sale of MBL Financial and Lasenby Knox as the group exited the advisory space.
Mary will be taking the baton from Mario Ricciardi whose remit was to develop the business’ systems and enhance operational efficiencies. As the business approaches its seventh birthday, Mary’s focus will be on building on the business’ success to date and continuing to invest in the team and client service.
She explains: “I’m proud of what we’ve been able to achieve in the past seven years. My priorities will be to invest in people and innovation to cement our position in the market and continue to be able to provide the best service to each and every client.”
“Everything we do at Creechurch Capital is to deliver a better service and performance to our clients. The pace of regulatory, technological and political change has never been faster. Our investments in digital, in our culture and in our talent development will mean we’re perfectly placed to continue to drive excellence for the next seven years.”
This news comes on the back of a successful string of award wins which has seen the group collect five accolades in the first six months of 2017 at ceremonies held in Manchester and London.
John Greenwood from Creechurch Capital commented: “Mary has built an outstanding track record in her career and as someone who has been driving success in the group since we launched. Her in-depth understanding of Creechurch, our journey thus far and the wider market, perfectly equips her to lead the business throughout the next chapter. I would like to personally thank Mary for her ongoing exceptional delivery and commitment to the group. Her appointment is a reflection of the success of the business to date and her key part in shaping that success – congratulations!”
