Creechurch Private Wealth has announced another key sponsorship deal as it will support the Isle of Man’s Yasmin Ingham as she strives to be selected for the British pony event team again this year.
Following her success in last year’s British and European Pony Championships, 15-year-old Yasmin is working towards competing in the Junior Selection Trials for the U18s British team when she becomes eligible in 2014.
The announcement follows hot-on-the-heels of the launch of the Creechurch Sports Academy which will see the firm sponsor a selection of handpicked, promising young sports stars.
Yasmin said: “Living on the Isle of Man, we have very limited facilities for cross country training so I have to travel to the UK with my pony to train throughout the year. This is quite stressful, especially when balancing alongside my studies. The support gained from sponsors is absolutely vital to being able to compete this year.”
Creechurch CEO, John Greenwood said: “We’re very keen to support up-and-coming talent on the island. Yasmin has the potential to be a real star and we wish her every success in her events this year.”
