Boutique discretionary fund manager, Creechurch Capital, has recruited Andrew Brown as assistant portfolio manager.
His previous role was wealth management assistant at Duncan Lawrie (IOM) Limited. As such, he brings with him, experience of dealing with high-net-
worth clients across the Isle of Man and internationally.
Speaking of his latest hire, CEO John Greenwood said: “It’s no secret that we’ve grown quickly since our launch five years ago. We’ve exceeded expectations and it has been a natural time to take stock and assess the future direction of the business.
“We’ve competed on an international stage in terms of business development and been able to already hire and nurture some of the Island’s top talent because of this. The next era will see us focus on this talent, attracting the next generation of stars, and providing the opportunities and resource to develop a global centre for excellence on the Isle of Man.”
Brown added: “I was impressed by the opportunity to work at a well-respected company with endless future opportunities and am looking forward to being part of Creechurch’s continued growth and success.”
Andrew is currently training for London Marathon 2016 and competes in the Isle of Man squash leagues as well as being an avid golfer.
In its five years of business the company has seen strong growth, with business development in continents such as Latin America, Africa and Asia, while continuing to retain the values it was founded upon.
Despite its successful growth, the firm’s CEO, John Greenwood, makes no secret of the fact he will never allow the original business to grow beyond the industry standard of a boutique. The business is this month shortlisted in the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards.
